Benning Wang

Benning Wang, MBA, CLP, serves as the Principal Partnerships Manager for North America at Owkin, focusing on sourcing and nurturing strategic partnerships to provide AI-ready datasets for precision medicine research. Previously, Benning held significant roles at the University of Pennsylvania, including Co-Director of Administrative for the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy and Associate Director of Licensing for Corporate Alliances, where responsibilities included managing intellectual property commercialization in CAR-T, cell therapy, and immuno-oncology. Earlier experience includes positions at Duke University as a Licensing Analyst, GE Healthcare as an MBA Project Consultant, Taiwan Civil Appeal Court as a Law Clerk to Judge Chen, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan, along with being an inventor of a patent at Industrial Technology Research Institutes. Benning earned an MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and holds multiple degrees from National Taiwan University, including Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Law and Biochemical Sciences, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Chemistry.
