Janna Salmin

Janna Salmin has a wealth of experience in the photography industry. Janna began their career in 2008 as a Post Production Assistant at Steve Friedman Photography. In 2009, they moved to Alison Wright Photography in the same role. In 2010, they began working as a Freelance Retoucher/Color Technician at Time Inc. and as a Freelance Photo Retoucher at Janna Salmin Retouching. In 2011, they added Gilt Groupe to their list of employers as a Freelance Retoucher. In 2013, they became a Retoucher at Natalie Sinisgalli Photography. In 2014, they began working as a Studio Manager/Retoucher at Matt Wittmeyer Photography. In 2016, they began working at EagleView in a variety of roles, including Program Manager, Associate Program Manager, Photogrammetric Image Correction Coordinator II, Image Correction Coordinator, and Image Correction Specialist. In 2022, they began working as a Project Manager at Owl Autonomous Imaging.

Janna Salmin obtained their BFA in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2008. Janna also obtained several certifications from Coursera and the Project Management Institute, including Introduction to Project Management Principles and Practices, Budgeting and Scheduling Projects, Initiating and Planning Projects, CAPM, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) in 2017.
