Jerry Tsai

Jerry Tsai has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Jerry started as a Student Programmer at Industrial Automation Lab, where they implemented a GUI to display and input values for the PHANTOM OMNI Haptics device. In 2014, they joined Assembly Co. as a Developer, where they worked on both native and hybrid Android and iOS projects, implemented features and maintained REST API using Node.js, Express, MongoDB and Mongoose, worked on PhoneGap/Cordova project using the Ionic Framework (AngularJS), wrote end to end tests using Protractor, Jasmine, ngMock, and Karma, wrote unit and integration tests for server using Mocha, and code reviews. In 2017, they moved to Absolute Software as a Software Engineer 2. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at owl.co.

Jerry Tsai received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia in 2013. In 2020, they completed a User Interface Design course at BrainStation.
