Jaron Providence

Jaron Providence has a diverse range of work experience in network engineering and IT support. Jaron joined Owl Cyber Defense in 2021 as a Senior Network Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at ARMA Global Corporation, a General Dynamics Company, from 2017 to 2022, where they held the role of Network Engineer. Before that, Jaron worked at ManTech International Corporation as a Network Engineer from 2016 to 2022. Jaron also has military experience, having served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2011 to 2022. In the army, they held the position of Senior LAN Manager/Systems Lead, where they oversaw a team of 15 members and provided IT support to over 3000 users in the brigade.

Jaron Providence attended CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Technology with a major in Computer Information Systems, specializing in Information Security.

In terms of additional certifications, Jaron obtained various certifications from Cisco and CompTIA. Jaron became a Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) in October 2020, a Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Design in August 2020, a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in July 2020, a CCNA Security in June 2018, a CompTIA Security+ in June 2018, and a CCNA R&S in January 2016.
