Sean Driscoll

Sean Driscoll has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sean currently works at Owl Cyber Defense as a Senior Software Engineer since October 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at OSIsoft from 2013 to 2020, holding various positions including Senior Software Developer, Software Developer, Technical Support Escalation Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer. At OSIsoft, they provided technical support, troubleshooting, and analysis for complex issues, authored informational articles, led internal course curriculum, and collaborated with engineering and product management teams.

Before OSIsoft, Sean worked at Campos EPC, LLC as an Associate Engineer, where they were responsible for natural gas pipeline data management. Sean collected information on pipeline attributes to ensure safety and future health of the pipelines. Sean also has experience as a Barista at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop and as a Caretaker at Cavalry Episcopal Church, where they secured the grounds, provided support to organizations using the facilities, and handled emergency situations.

In the past, Sean also worked as an Assistant Manager at Safeway Starbucks and as a Construction Laborer at ASI General Contractors. Overall, Sean has a strong background in software engineering, technical support, and project management.

Sean Driscoll has a strong educational background in engineering and mechanical engineering. Sean obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they pursued further studies and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Sean Driscoll has also obtained several certifications. These certifications include "C#: Design Patterns," "Agile Development Practices," "Cloud Native Twelve-Factor Applications," "Microservices Foundations," and "Programming Foundations: Design Patterns," which were all obtained from LinkedIn in May and June of 2018. Furthermore, they hold two Microsoft certifications: "Microsoft Technology Associate - Networking Fundamentals" and "Microsoft Technology Associate - Security Fundamentals," both earned in January 2014.
