William Rouse

William Rouse has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years in various industries. William most recently worked as a QA Consultant at Owl Cyber Defense since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer / QA at GK Software USA from March 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining GK Software USA, William worked as a Utilization Technician at the North Carolina Department of Transportation - Office of Civil Rights from May 2018 to March 2020. William also held the position of Senior Software QA Analyst at TOSHIBA Global Commerce Solutions, Inc from June 2014 to November 2017.

William started their career at IBM, where they worked as a QA Test Engineer from January 2011 to March 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Hardware/Software Test Engineer at DCT from March 2010 to March 2011.

Before joining IBM and DCT, William had a long stint at IBM as a BladeCenter Test Engineer from June 2004 to April 2010. During this time, they also worked as an I.T. Consultant for IBM/CTG.

Their career began in 1997 as a Network Administrator at MicroMass Communications, where they worked until 2002. Throughout their diverse work history, William has gained significant expertise in QA, systems engineering, utilization analysis, and network administration.

William Rouse has a diverse education background. In 1986, they graduated from JH Rose High School with a diploma. From 1989 to 1993, they attended North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1996, they enrolled at Wake Technical Community College and earned an Associate of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. Additionally, William has obtained several certifications related to IT and networking, including CompTIA Network+ Certifications and IT Security Careers and Certifications: First Steps.
