Ben Macdonald

Ben Macdonald is the current Head of Sales & Business Development at Owl Labs. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of Channels & Inside Sales at Polycom from April 2016 to December 2021. In this role, they led a team of Sr. Channel Business Managers and was responsible for driving both volume and value sales strategies. Ben also integrated Inside Sales and Channel partnerships, resulting in a broader reach, ease of doing business, and a better customer experience.

Before their time at Polycom, Macdonald served as the Director of Business Development for National Partners at Juniper Networks from April 2008 to April 2016. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing the partner sales strategy for Juniper’s national partner base.

Macdonald began their career in the tech industry as a Channel Account Manager at Webroot Software from April 2007 to April 2008. In this role, they managed a book of business consisting of approximately 100 channel partners across the U.S. and Canada.

Ben Macdonald attended Barat College of DePaul University and obtained a BA in Business Administration and Marketing.

Their manager is Frank Weishaupt, CEO. They work with Ben Harman - Chief of Staff, Ashley Karr - VP, Global Marketing, and Kristin L. Celano - Global Director, Brand & Communications.
