David Robertson

David Robertson, ChPC, is a highly experienced professional in the field of sports coaching and development, currently serving as a High Performance Pursuit Advisor at Own The Podium since February 2023. Previous roles include Excellence in Sport Consultant and Manager of Coaching Development at Sask Sport, as well as positions at Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan, where David contributed as the Advanced Coach Diploma Director. With a strong coaching background at Canoe Kayak Canada, David has held various roles including National Development Team Coach and Senior Men's Kayak 1000m Coach. David's expertise extends to regional development as a Southern Saskatchewan High Performance Coach and High Performance Coach at Wascana Racing Canoe Club. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor's degree in Fitness and Lifestyles from the University of Regina, combined with education from the University of Jyväskylä.
