Paul Ignatenko

Paul Ignatenko has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer II at Own Up since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Ambulnz as a Software Engineering Manager from July 2019 to February 2021 and as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2018 to June 2019. At Ambulnz, they implemented ambulance scheduling and dispatching software, introduced test-first BDD methodologies, and mentored developers through code reviews and pair programming.

Before joining Ambulnz, Paul served as a Senior Software Engineer at VAL Health, LLC from November 2014 to May 2018. During their tenure, they implemented various improvements to the software development process, saving on yearly labor costs and enhancing integration with external systems. Paul also designed and executed a software migration plan to Amazon Web Services, resulting in cost savings and improved compliance.
