Laura Granja is a Doctoral Candidate Researcher at the University of Colorado Denver, specializing in urban planning and housing issues. With experience as a Graduate Research Assistant on various projects focusing on housing affordability, land use planning, and the creation of safe outdoor spaces, Laura demonstrates proficiency in data collection and geospatial analysis. Prior roles include Land Use Planner for Elbert County Government, Professor at Universidade Paulista, and Community Planner at ATOS Colaborativos. Laura holds a Ph.D. in Geography, Planning and Design from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora.
