Ron Blake has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ron is currently the Director of Operations & Finance at Ownership Works, a nonprofit focused on extending wealth-building opportunities to all employees. Prior to this, they were the Head of Finance and Controller at the same organization.

Ron also served as a Venture Advisor at FedTech, where they worked on accelerating and delivering commercial and government applications of technologies in the homeland security sector.

Before that, Ron held a leadership position at American Express, where they led a team responsible for SEC, regulatory, and Basel reporting for Derivatives and Hedging. Ron also played a key role in automating financial reporting processes and addressing regulatory challenges.

Earlier in their career, Ron worked in financial planning and analysis at Direct Energy and held a managerial position at Hess Corporation, focusing on derivative accounting and reporting. Ron also had experience as a derivatives accountant in the energy industry at FPL Energy, Power Marketing Inc.

Ron started their career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ron Blake has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship from New York University. Ron also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Furthermore, Ron holds a M.Sc. degree in Accounting from Florida International University and a B.Sc. degree in Accounting & Management (Double Major) from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Ron is additionally a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the New York State Education Department.
