Tim Harley

Tim Harley has worked in the finance and legal industries since 2011. Tim started their career as a Paralegal at Herbert Smith Freehills in 2011 before moving to Macquarie Capital in 2015 as an Investment Banking Analyst. While at Macquarie Capital, they were responsible for providing financial analysis in the Australian REIT sector and successfully coordinated and conducted two major public asset privatisations for the NSW Government worth over A$500m. In 2018, they joined Wise Ltd. as Head of Middle East (Expansion), Senior Executive Officer, and Head of Middle East (Banking). In 2021, they became Co-Founder of OwnHome.

Tim Harley received their HSC from The King's School in 2001-2008, where they studied English Extension, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, and Chemistry. Tim then attended the University of Sydney from 2009-2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) / Bachelor of Law. In 2016, they completed a Master's Degree in Political Science and Government from SOAS University of London. Additionally, they have been studying Modern Standard Arabic at the Qalam wa Lawh Center for Arabic Studies and the Subul Assalam Centre for the Arabic Language since 2016.
