Tony Nguyen

Tony Nguyen has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and companies. In 2015, they started as a Software Engineer at Flipd Inc., where they eventually became the VP of Engineering. During their time at Flipd, they developed the mobile experience of the product and led a team that achieved top rankings on the App Store, resulting in the app being featured by Apple. In 2018, Tony co-founded OplyTech and held the role of Co-Founder until 2023. Tony then joined Techstars as an Alumni, where they worked closely with the Founders of Flipd to plan and ideate the roadmap for Demo Day. In 2020, Tony became a Startup Tech Advisor at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Ownr as a Senior Software Engineer.

Tony Nguyen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto Scarborough in 2017.
