Ümit Kaya

Ümit Kaya has several years of experience working in the field of mobile application development. In 2014, they started working at SelfDrvn Enterprise as a Mobile Application Developer, where they were involved in the development of the SelfDrvn SaaS platform using Objective-C. Ümit also gained exposure to gamification, big data analytics, and HR talent retention. In 2016, Ümit joined REA Group as an iOS/React Native Developer, where they developed mobile apps for various brands in the Asia market. Ümit also worked on integrating Google products and utilized Scrum and Kanban for project management. In 2019, Ümit joined Brightan System Sdn Bhd as a Senior iOS Developer, where they focused on developing iOS mobile apps using Swift and RxSwift, ensuring the quality of features through unit tests and automation. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at Transition Technologies - Managed Services as a Senior iOS Developer, managing multiple iOS mobile applications for the client Roche in the Asia Pacific region. Finally, in 2022, Ümit joined OWWN (ex wajve) as a Mobile Application Developer.

Ümit Kaya completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering from Management and Science University, studying from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Ümit Kaya has obtained several certifications. In April 2021, they received a course certificate for "Learning Salesforce" from LinkedIn Learning. In February 2021, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Prior to that, in December 2019, they completed courses in "iOS Development: Architecture" and "Machine Learning for iOS Developers" from LinkedIn. Ümit'searliest certification, "iOS developer," was obtained from iTrain Malaysia in April 2015.
