Andrés Pérez Torres

Andrés Pérez Torres is an accomplished engineer with a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer and ML Lead at Oxa since October 2022, Andrés has previously held leadership roles including Head of AI at Maekersuite, where responsibilities included overseeing features in computer vision and natural language processing, and leading computer vision initiatives at Amazon Prime Air from June 2016 to May 2021. With extensive experience across various engineering roles since 2005, including positions at CES Creative Electronic Systems SA, Altran North America, ALTEN, RYMSA, Fraunhofer IGD, and Indra, Andrés has developed a comprehensive skill set in software engineering, business development, and technical leadership. Academically, Andrés pursued a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and holds an Engineering degree in Telecommunications from Universidad de Alcalá.
