Max Deacon

Max Deacon is currently a Principal at Oxbow Partners and the Founder of EarthNet, a venture focused on connecting non-profit and community environmental projects to philanthropic funding since May 2022. Deacon has a diverse background with experience as an Independent Consultant for various firms, including Eden McCallum and Oxbow Partners, where expertise in commercial operations and strategy was applied. As the Founder and Advisor of Climate Caucus, Deacon led the development of a non-partisan group of over 600 elected leaders in Canada addressing climate change. Previous roles include founding Nudj, serving as Product Manager at Timely, and holding managerial positions at Oliver Wyman. Deacon began a career in the financial sector as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at the British Bankers' Association and contributed as a Principal Researcher for Boris Johnson's 2012 Mayoral election manifesto. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in History from the University of Oxford.
