Oxbridge Academy
Ariste Metaxas is an experienced educator specializing in English and Creative Writing, currently serving as a High School English Educator at Oxbridge Foundation, Inc. since July 2023. Metaxas also contributes as an editor for the U.S. Educator Newsletter at Girl Rising, collaborating on initiatives to promote education for girls. Previously, at North Broward Preparatory School, Metaxas held the roles of English Department Chair and International Baccalaureate Language and Literature Teacher while managing innovative curricula for a diverse international student body. Additional experiences include mentoring low-income students with the United Way of Palm Beach County and advocating for sustainable development through ConnectAID. Metaxas has held various teaching positions in the UK and Thailand and holds degrees from UCLA and Newcastle University.

Oxbridge Academy was founded by William I. Koch in 2011, Oxbridge Academy inspires students in grades 7-12 by offering a different approach to secondary education. With access to state-of-the-art technology, a 54-acre campus, and passionate educators, as they have students, approximately 500, and prepared to meet the world boldly with initiative and kindness. Oxbridge Academy fosters the development of young adults into learners, thinkers, and problem solvers.
