Dylan Owen began their career in 1996 as an Assistant Farm Manager at J C Suckley. Dylan then joined ADAS as a Farm Business Consultant and Senior Business Developer - Agriculture and Food Consultancy in the same year. In 2004, they became an Agriculture Manager at HSBC Commercial Banking, where they were responsible for relationship management to farming businesses across North & Mid Wales. In 2020, they joined Oxbury Bank Plc as Deputy Head of Farmer Relationships, where they work alongside the Head of Farmer Relationships to lead the team of agricultural relationship managers nationally in the UK. Dylan's responsibilities include focusing on sales and administration processes to deliver an excellent, differentiated experience for their farmer customers.

Dylan Owen began their education in 1990, when they attended Glynllifon College in Caernarfon, where they obtained a National Certificate in Agriculture. Dylan then attended the Welsh Agricultural College in Aberystyth from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a National Diploma in Agriculture. Finally, they attended Aberystwyth University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture.
