Vassilis Ragoussis

Vassilis Ragoussis has a long and varied work experience. In 2011, they completed an internship at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In 2012, they completed an internship at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. From 2014 to 2015, they were an Early Career Researcher at McGill University. In 2018, they were a Student Consultant at Oxford University Innovation, a Communications Associate at Science Innovation Union, and an Oxford Foundry Student Fellow. In 2019, they were President of the Oxford University Biotech Society. In 2020, they were a Program Manager/Commercial Operations at Ochre Bio. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of OXECO, a chemistry technology company that designs, develops, and manufactures surface treatments for the transport and clean technology sectors.

Vassilis Ragoussis completed their High School Diploma at Abingdon School between 2004 and 2011. Vassilis then attended Boston University between 2012 and 2016, where they earned a Health Science degree in Healthcare and Public Health. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford between 2016 and 2020.
