Piers Aicken has a wide range of work experience, beginning with a Process Engineering Internship at Seagate Technology in 2012. Piers then completed a 10 week summer placement at CSR as an Acoustic Measurement Intern in 2014. In 2015, they joined Fujitsu UK as a Software and Solution Development Graduate and later became a System Architect. Most recently, they began working at Oxehealth as a Platform Engineer in 2021, where they led the development of a new project to integrate the company's existing offering with a customer's system. Piers was responsible for implementing a robust, containerised Python application with automated tests and deployment to site using configuration management software.
Piers Aicken obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast in 2015. In April 2019, they also obtained a Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification from Cisco.
