Christian Huveneers is an experienced professional in the fields of economics and competition law. Currently serving as an analyst in business development at Oxera since September 2013, Christian is responsible for enhancing the firm's visibility in Brussels. Simultaneously, Christian holds the position of assesseur at the Belgian Competition Authority, actively participating in decision-making bodies and working groups. Previously, Christian was the vice-president and a full-time member at the Conseil de la concurrence from October 2004 to September 2013. Additionally, Christian has experience as a former lecturer at Université de Namur from 1991 to 2007 and served as an expert at the Federal Planning Bureau and Central Council of the Economy from April 2001 to October 2004. Christian holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Law and Economics from UCL, KULeuven, and Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, alongside a Master of Arts in macroeconomics and econometrics from KULeuven. Early education includes a diploma in Greek-Latin humanities from Collège Saint-Pierre.
