Timo Klein

Timo Klein is a Senior Consultant at Oxera Consulting LLP, serving since April 2020, where the focus is on advising companies, policymakers, regulators, and lawyers on economic issues related to competition, finance, and regulation. Concurrently, Timo Klein holds the position of Assistant Professor at Utrecht University, focusing on research and graduate-level teaching in competition economics. Previous experience includes a PhD in Competition Economics from the University of Amsterdam, along with a significant role in the Chief Economist Team at the European Commission's DG Competition. Timo Klein has also contributed as a Consultant and Project Manager at De Kleine Consultant, and gained internship experience at Frontier Economics. Academic credentials include an MPhil from the Tinbergen Institute and an MSc from The London School of Economics and Political Science, in addition to a BSc from the University of Amsterdam.
