Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego (DBA) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Dr. Laté'smost recent role was as the Chief Innovation Officer at Oxfam America's innovation lab, AGILE, where they co-created and scaled up solutions for global inequality challenges. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Oxfam in Africa Director, leading the change management process and managing innovation to reduce inequality. Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego also held positions at Oxfam America, including Interim Co-Vice President of the Global Programs Division and Global Program Director for Food Systems & Executing Affiliate Countries Oversight.

Before joining Oxfam, Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego worked at CARE USA, where they held various roles such as Sr. Director of the Food & Nutrition Security Unit, Director of the Agriculture & Market System Team, and Director of the Economic Development Unit. Dr. Laté was responsible for managing large-scale programs addressing food insecurity and poverty, as well as developing strategic partnerships with companies in the agriculture and food industries.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego served as a Senior Technical Advisor for Economic Development at CARE, providing leadership to microfinance and enterprise development programs across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Dr. Laté was also a Country Representative for CARE in Benin, overseeing program coordination and development, and a Microfinance Program Coordinator for Ghana, Togo, and Benin, where they expanded CARE's microfinance portfolio and introduced innovations in the sector.

Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego's work experience also includes roles as an Auditor and Project Manager at Consult Services in Togo and PlaNet Finance in Paris. Overall, their work has focused on reducing inequality, addressing food and nutrition security, and fostering inclusive economic development.

Dr. Laté Lawson-Lartego (DBA) has an extensive education history. In 1991, they began their studies at the Université de Lomé, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Economics with a major in Business Administration in 1995. Dr. Laté then pursued further education at the University of Reading, completing a Master of Art degree in Development Studies from 1998 to 1999. Following this, in 1999, Dr. Lawson-Lartego obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Planning, Appraisal, and Financing from the University of Bradford, specializing in Economics and Development.

Building on their previous achievements, Dr. Lawson-Lartego continued their education at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. From 2013 to 2016, they completed their Doctorate in Business Administration, focusing on Business Strategies for Base of the Pyramid, Executive Leadership, and Applied Research.

In addition to their formal degrees, Dr. Lawson-Lartego obtained a certification in Project Management, Appraisal, and Financing from the University of Bradford in December 1999.
