Michael Borum

Michael Borum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital rights advocacy and marketing. Since January 2007, Borum has held various positions at Oxfam America, currently serving as the Global Digital Rights & Influencing Advisor, focusing on human rights in a digital age and developing a community of practice within the organization. Borum is the founder of etherweave, a digital marketing consulting firm established in 2002, and has worked with a diverse international clientele. Previous roles include Associate Creative Director at Circle.com/Euro RSCG 4D, Creative Director at NetMarquee, Inc., and Director of Interactive Media at Direct Results Group. Borum has also contributed to academia as a faculty member at Marlboro College Graduate School and an adjunct professor at Merrimack College. Educational credentials include a BA in International Affairs and Political Science from Florida State University.
