Vanessa MacPherson

Vanessa Macpherson is an experienced professional in direct marketing and fundraising, currently serving as Direct Marketing Manager at Oxfam Australia since April 2021, where roles have included acting as Head of Direct Marketing and previously as Direct Marketing Coordinator. Prior to this, Vanessa held the position of Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator at the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation in 2020. An academic background includes a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor's Degree in Government and International Relations from the University of Sydney, complemented by an exchange program in Political Science and Government. Early career roles featured positions as an Information Management Officer and Telephone Program Caller, alongside a brief engagement as a Data Entry Assistant at the University of Sydney. Educational foundations were established at Danebank Anglican School for Girls, culminating in a Higher School Certificate.
