Ernesto Garcia Lopez

Ernesto Garcia Lopez is a seasoned professional in anthropology and social consulting, currently serving as the Coordinator of the Just Recovery Strategy Team at Oxfam Intermón since December 2021. Previously, from 2013 to 2021, Ernesto was an Assistant Professor at Duke University in Madrid, teaching courses on contemporary social issues and social mobilization in Spain. With extensive freelance consulting experience in social evaluation and international cooperation, significant projects include research on Valencian youth perceptions of poverty and inequality. Earlier roles include consulting positions at Dinamia Cooperative and various organizations focused on education for development and project formation. Ernesto holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Development Cooperation and a Doctorate in Public-Oriented Anthropology.
