Amy P.

Amy P. has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Amy is currently working as the Director of Regulatory and Product Quality at Oxford Biomedica Solutions since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Homology Medicines, Inc. from February 2019 to March 2022, where they held roles such as Director of Product Quality and External Quality Operations, and Associate Director of External Quality Operations. Amy also gained valuable experience at bluebird bio, where they worked from March 2015 to February 2019 in roles such as Senior Manager of Quality Operations and Manager of Quality Control. Before that, they worked at Vericel Corporation as a Scientist II in Quality Control from May 2014 to March 2015. Amy also worked at Sanofi Genzyme as a Scientist II in Quality Control from June 2012 to May 2014. Prior to joining Sanofi Genzyme, they worked at Aushon as a CLIA Lab Supervisor from July 2011 to June 2012. Earlier in their career, they had significant roles at Genzyme, including Process Development Supervisor, Senior Development Associate, Development Associate, and Senior Manufacturing Technician from July 2003 to July 2011. Amy started their career as a Research Associate at UMass Medical School from May 2002 to July 2003.

Amy P. has a strong educational background in the field of science and regulatory science. Amy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the years 1998 to 2002. Following that, Amy pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology, General from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, completing it between 2002 and 2005. Finally, they furthered their education at The Johns Hopkins University between 2017 and 2022, earning a Master of Science in Regulatory Science.

In addition to their academic achievements, Amy has also obtained two certifications. Amy acquired the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2014. Recently, in December 2020, they achieved the Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification from the same institution.
