Klaudia Szymczak

Klaudia Szymczak is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in upstream process development, currently holding the position of Scientist II at Oxford Biomedica since September 2022. Prior to this role, Klaudia served as Scientist I at Homology Medicines, Inc. from January 2021 to September 2022, also focusing on upstream process development. Klaudia's early career includes significant research contributions at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where as a Research Assistant, innovative protocols for functional assays of neutrophils and macrophages were developed. Klaudia has held multiple teaching assistant positions, enhancing educational experiences in developmental biology and mammalian cell culture techniques. Additional collaborative projects took place at Aristea Therapeutics and the US Army, among others. Klaudia holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Biotechnology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
