Aurélie Charpentier has a diverse work experience in the field of business development and technology transfer. Aurélie is currently working at Oxford Biomedica as the Director of Business Development, where they lead all in-licensing and out-licensing activities for technologies. Prior to this, they worked at Sanofi as a Transactions Manager and Strategy & Business Development, where they negotiated numerous transaction deals and supported various scientific areas. Aurélie also has experience as a Technology Transfer Manager at Irstea, managing the process of converting inventions into innovations. Additionally, Aurélie has worked as a Patent Agent in Life Sciences at Becker & Associes and Griffith Hack, gaining exposure to patent attorney activities. Aurélie started their career as a Research Engineer intern at IMCB A*star and CNRS, where they conducted studies and improved experimental protocols.

Aurélie Charpentier completed an Executive MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Biology (Biotechnology and Pharmacology) from Polytech Nice Sophia, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Aurélie also attended Lycée Albert Schweitzer from 2005 to 2007, where they completed a 2-year preparatory class for competitive entrance to Engineering schools, focusing on Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Sciences. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" from Coursera Course Certificates in May 2016.
