Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson is a seasoned biotechnologist with a strong background in the development and manufacturing of viral vectored gene therapies and vaccines. Currently serving as the Biotechnologist Team Lead at Oxford Biomedica since April 2022, Christopher oversees operator teams, emphasizes career development, and conducts regular progress reviews. Previously, Christopher contributed to the advancement of novel drugs within GMP environments at Oxford Biomedica and played a pivotal role in vaccine protocol development at the University of Oxford. With a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Aston University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics from Cardiff University, Christopher also possesses experience as a personal tutor, demonstrating a diverse skill set in both scientific and educational domains.
