Lindsey Hudson has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Lindsey started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Leeds in 1995. Lindsey then moved on to Novartis, where they worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow from 1998 to 2001. After that, they joined Oxford Glycosciences as a Senior Scientist in Target Discovery from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they worked at UCB as a Bioinformatician for a year. In 2011, Lindsey joined Oxford BioTherapeutics as a Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics Target Discovery, where they interpreted and analyzed proteomic data, developed systems for target identification, and patented multiple novel oncology targets. Lindsey later took on roles in Strategic Alliance Management, Business Development, Contracts and Alliance Management, and Director of BD and Alliance Management. In their current position as the Senior Director of BD and Alliance Management at Oxford BioTherapeutics, Lindsey is responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with strategic partners, formulating and delivering the company's business development strategy, and leading negotiations to completion. Throughout their career, Lindsey has demonstrated expertise in alliance management, contract negotiation, and scientific contract review.
Lindsey Hudson's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology from the University of Leeds in 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Cell Biology and Anatomy at the same university from 1994 to 1995. Lindsey then continued their studies at the University of Leeds, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Muscle Damage and Transformation from 1995 to 1998.
