Melissa Kinnear

Melissa Kinnear is an accomplished architect and educator with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the architecture field. As the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Architecture Sans Frontieres-UK since October 2019 and a Design Tutor at Oxford Brookes University since September 2006, Melissa has significantly contributed to both educational and nonprofit sectors. Previous positions include Director at i3nk from August 2011 to July 2019 and various roles at Architecture Sans Frontieres-UK, including General Manager and Expert Affiliate. Melissa has also held senior architectural positions at firms such as Stock Woolstencroft and John McAslan + Partners, alongside early career experience at EPR Architects and V&A Design. Melissa's educational background includes a BArch and BAS from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Professional Registration Qualification from the University of Westminster, and a MA in Development and Emergency Practice from Oxford Brookes University, further complemented by studies at the Regenesis Institute for Regenerative Practice in 2023.
