Carrie Ayala

Carrie Ayala, RHIT, is an experienced Health Information Management professional currently serving as HIM Practice Director at Oxford Global Resources since September 2013. In this role, Carrie manages coding projects, conducts outpatient compliance audits, and provides staff education on EHR systems and coding guidelines. Previously, Carrie held the position of Assistant Director of Health Information Management at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada from August 1998 to September 2014, overseeing over 100 employees, developing internal policies, and implementing EHR systems. Additional experience includes managing outpatient coding services at Woodland Healthcare and serving as Lead Coder/Auditor at Sansum Clinic. Carrie earned a degree in Health Information Technology from the College of Southern Nevada.
