Kathy Bates

Kathy Bates is an experienced project and program manager with a focus on Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA), particularly in the medical device sector. Currently serving as the EU MDR Implementation Program/Project Manager at Oxford Global Resources since February 2021, Kathy has led EU MDR implementations for companies such as DJO Global and Cardinal Health. Previously, Kathy held the position of QA/RA Program Manager at Hologic, Inc., where the focus was on divisional EU MDR implementation. At Smith & Nephew, Kathy advanced from a Corporate RAQA System Analyst to a Senior Manager, overseeing global quality initiatives and establishing a corporate management review process. Kathy's extensive background also includes roles at Class, Inc., and Level 3 Communications, where project management efforts spanned quality enhancement, change management, and operational efficiency. Kathy holds a Master's Certification in Project Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Northeastern University.
