Daniel Wilkinson

Principal Design Engineer at Oxford Instruments

Daniel Wilkinson has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. Daniel started their career in 2007 as a Data and Market Researcher at Orange Aero, where they focused on sourcing new business and relationships for the company. Daniel also gained experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the disassembly of Rolls Royce jet engines and inspection of high-pressure blades. In 2008, Daniel worked as an IT Technician at Albemarle of London, where they set up network systems and assisted in sales. Since 2012, they have been working at Oxford Instruments, starting as an Electrical Design Engineer and progressing to Senior Electrical Designer, Lead Engineer, and currently serving as a Principal Design Engineer.

Daniel Wilkinson attended Sackville Community College from 2000 to 2007, where they studied A Levels in Mathematics, Advancing Physics, and Systems and Control. Daniel then pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Exeter from 2008 to 2012, graduating with an MEng.
