James Ellis

James Ellis is currently the Innovation Team Leader - Core Technologies at Oxford Instruments. Prior to their current role, James worked as a Senior Innovation Developer at the same company, where James led projects focusing on cutting-edge technologies. Before that, James served as a Technical Consultant at Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant Manager at the University of York. James holds a PhD in Plasma and High-Temperature Physics from the University of York. With a strong background in plasma physics, chemistry, and laser-based diagnostics, James has extensive experience in research, teaching, and innovation across various organizations.
