Senior Cryogenics Development Engineer at Oxford Instruments

Martin Jackson, PhD, is a Senior Cryogenics Development Engineer at Oxford Instruments since November 2019. Prior to this role, Martin served as a Research Associate at the Department of Low-Temperature Physics at Charles University from April 2013 to November 2019, focusing on Quantum Turbulence in Superfluid 4He. Martin has also held visiting researcher positions at the Balseiro Institute CNEA, contributing to the visualization of Quantum Turbulence in Superfluid 4He, and at the O.V. Lounasmaa Laboratory studying Quantum Turbulence in Superfluid 3He-B. Previous research associate experience includes work on very low temperature magnetization and susceptibility measurements at Institut Néel CNRS. Martin's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from Lancaster University, as well as an MPhys from the same institution. Further education includes a certification in Quantum Computing Fundamentals from MIT xPRO.
