Thomas Altebaeumer

Thomas Altebaeumer is currently the Director of Innovation at Oxford Instruments, where they leverage their leadership experience in managing and developing IP portfolios and driving the quality of patent processes. Previously, they served as an IP Strategy Director at Renesas Electronics and Dialog Semiconductor, where they significantly expanded patent portfolios and facilitated M&A activities. Thomas has also held various research positions, including a PostDoc at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory and a Scientific Associate at the University of Tübingen, contributing to advances in nanotechnology and materials science. They hold a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and additional certifications in Intellectual Property and Technology Innovation Strategy from renowned institutions.
