Jonno Melia

Jonno Melia currently serves as the Deputy Principal Pastoral & Wellbeing and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Oxford International College Brighton since August 2023. Previously, Jonno Melia worked at Brighton College from September 2011 to July 2023, holding various roles including Deputy Head Pastoral, Assistant Head Teacher, and Head of Department for Religious Studies, while also engaging as a Religious Studies Teacher, Year 5 Teacher, and Sports Coach. Additionally, Jonno Melia was a semi-professional footballer with clubs such as Worthing FC and Lewes FC between October 2007 and June 2016. Other experiences include managing a homeless nightshelter voluntarily and working in customer service roles at Blackjack Promotions. Jonno Melia holds a Postgraduate Degree in Education from the University of Buckingham and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Loughborough University.
