Bobby Mehta

Bobby Mehta serves as the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at the University of Portsmouth, focusing on enhancing the university's global reach through strategic partnerships, promoting international student recruitment, and supporting world-leading research. Additionally, Bobby Mehta leads the UoP Global team, overseeing international headcount and income targets, while also holding trustee roles at The Mary Rose and Pompey in the Community, and serving on various boards including the Oxford International Higher Education Advisory Board and ICEF Agency Status Adjudication Board. Bobby Mehta has extensive experience in international education, having previously been involved with the British Council and as Chair of the British Universities' International Liaison Association. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in E-Business Management and a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Travel & Tourism from the University of Bedfordshire.
