George Spooner has a long and varied work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Private Tutor, teaching Maths, Biology, and Chemistry up to undergraduate level, as well as tutoring Oxbridge applicants. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Intern at HealthEdge Investment Partners, where they spent time at various businesses within the investment portfolio, and presented to the Investment Board. George also worked as a Summer Intern at Imperial College London, shadowing PhD students and postdocs in Prof. Justin Stebbing's lab. In 2019, they worked as a Director at OxbridgeIQ, successfully launching an e-commerce Oxbridge admissions interview business. In 2020, they worked as the President and Road Captain of the Cambridge University Cycling Club, chairing a 14-person committee and transforming the club's finances. George is currently working as an Intern at Phillips-Medisize, and will start as Chief of Staff at Oxford Medical Products in 2022.
George Spooner attended University College School from 2007 to 2018. George then went on to study Natural Sciences with a focus on Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge from 2018 to 2021. George is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Therapeutic Sciences at the University of Cambridge, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
