Carolyn Tregidgo has a diverse work experience in the field of genomics and biotechnology. Carolyn has held various roles in different companies. Starting from their early career, they worked as a PhD student at King's College London from 2004 to 2007. Carolyn then joined Illumina as an Integration Scientist from 2007 to 2013, followed by a role as an Independent Scientific Consultant from 2013 to 2014.
In 2016, they moved to Genomics England where they held the positions of Bioinformatics Operations Manager from 2016 to 2017 and Head of Bioinformatics Delivery from 2017 to 2020. After that, they briefly worked at Base Genomics as the Head of Technology and Product Integration in 2020.

Carolyn'sdoctoral research focused on the field of Time Resolved Fluorescence Microscopy.
