James Hardisty has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 with work experience at Ardagh Group and CR Civil Engineering Ltd. In 2015, they worked as an Industrial Design and Development employee at RAPID EXPANSION SYSTEMS LIMITED before transitioning to the role of Graduate Engineer at Smith & Nephew. In 2018, James joined Oxford Nanopore Technologies as a Production Engineer and gradually moved up to the positions of Senior Production Engineer and Associate Director of Production Engineering.
