Jess Davies

Jess Davies has a diverse work experience in scientific communications and research. From 2018 to the present, they have worked at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, starting as a Technical Marketing Associate and moving up to Scientific Communications and Publications Lead and currently holds the position of Scientific Communications and Publications Manager. Jess'sresponsibilities included technical writing, science communication, sales enablement, and conference planning. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine from 2016 to 2018. Jess also worked at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015, first as a PhD student in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences and later as a Scientific Officer in the Genomics Core Facility, where they were involved in sample processing for Next Generation Sequencing and conducting research in immunogenomics.
