Lei Tong

Lei Tong currently serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Sales Specialists for the APAC region at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Lei Tong was the Associate Director of Regional Marketing APAC at NanoString Technologies, Inc. from November 2022 to December 2023. Lei Tong's extensive experience at Illumina spanned over a decade, where responsibilities included Staff Segment Marketing Manager for Oncology Testing and Cancer Research, Senior Cellular & Molecular Biology Segment Manager, Technical Support Manager, Technical Support Supervisor, and Technical Applications Scientist. Earlier in the career, Lei Tong worked as an Application Support Consultant at Roche Diagnostics from 2009 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomolecular Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biotechnology from Peking University.
