Chip Development Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies

Sinéad Tobin has a diverse range of work experience in various scientific and engineering roles. Sinéad worked as a Chip Development Scientist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were a Photonics Process Development Engineer at PRP Optoelectronics from 2016 to 2019, where they focused on wafer process engineering and photonic device manufacturing. Sinéad also worked as a Scientific Researcher at the University of Nottingham from 2014 to 2016, where they conducted research on ultrasonic wave generation using lasers and nanoparticles. Sinéad completed their MSc. in Nano Bio Science at University College Dublin from 2012 to 2014, and was a Fabrication Engineer at Analog Devices in 2011, where they focused on device characterization and testing.
