Siobhan Ward

Siobhan Ward has extensive experience in patent law. Siobhan worked at Harrison Goddard Foote LLP from 1998 until 2014, where they held the role of Senior Patent Attorney. In this position, Siobhan identified and captured innovation in the life sciences sector, prepared and prosecuted patent applications, and managed worldwide patent portfolios. Siobhan provided commercially-focused advice to protect intellectual property and successfully secured long-standing clients. Siobhan also participated in European opposition and appeal proceedings and ex-parte oral proceedings at the European Patent Office. In 2014, Siobhan joined Oxford Nanopore Technologies as Senior Patent Counsel.

Siobhan Ward completed their A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Geography at St Michaels Grammar School. Siobhan then attended the University of Leeds from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a focus on Biotechnology.
