Christian Eichinger serves as Scientific Director and Principal Consultant at Oxford PharmaGenesis since September 2014, following progressive roles from Consultant to Associate Consultant. Prior experience includes positions as Writer and Editor for the science magazine Phenotype at the University of Oxford, and a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Biochemistry under Prof. Kim Nasmyth, focusing on cohesin functions. Additional research roles include a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and a Research Fellow at RIKEN Japan, with project topics ranging from meiosis in yeast to DNA polymerase regulation in mammalian cells. Christian Eichinger has also contributed to academia as a Tutor for Cell Biology and Genetics at Magdalen College and the University of Georgia. Christian Eichinger holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the Max Planck Institute and a Diploma in Biology from the University of Regensburg. Further professional development includes participation in the Indirect and Mixed Treatment Comparisons Course at the University of Bristol.
