Matthew Long

Matthew Long has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and communications sectors. Currently serving as Communications Team Leader at Oxford PharmaGenesis since March 2016, Matthew has also taken on roles as Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Sudler & Hennessey as a Medical Writer from November 2013 to January 2016. Between April 2005 and November 2013, Matthew was a Group Leader and Project Manager at Peakdale Molecular, where responsibilities included managing a team of eight scientists in support of drug discovery programs for a global pharmaceutical company. Earlier career experiences include various positions as a chemist at the University at Buffalo, culminating in a role as Post Doctoral Research Associate from February 2003 to December 2004. Matthew holds a degree in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Cardiff University.
