Scott Forbes

Scott Forbes, Ph.D., is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as Medical Director at Oxford PharmaGenesis since September 2013, Scott leads scientific initiatives for rare disease accounts in immunology and neurology. Previously, Scott held the position of Associate Medical Director, focusing on autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Following tenure as Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Scott also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Virginia University.
